Technical Support Specialist (Agronomist)

Als Technical Support Specialist bied je teelttechnische ondersteuning aan onze Nederlandse klanten: distributeurs van gewasbeschermingsmiddelen (gbm). Je werkt voornamelijk vanuit huis en op locatie bij de klant; je bent ongeveer één dag in de week op kantoor in Leusden. De Technical Support Specialist maakt deel uit van het sales-team.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

• Je biedt teelttechnische ondersteuning aan klanten:
  - je beantwoordt klantvragen over het gebruik en de effecten van gbm
  - je organiseert en demonstreert praktijkproeven
  - je maakt en geeft presentaties voor klanten
• Je levert technische marktinformatie voor de marketingplannen en draagt zo bij aan de commerciële doelstellingen

Vereisten

• Je hebt minimaal een hbo-opleiding afgerond in een landbouwgerelateerd vakgebied
• Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar actuele ervaring in de gewasbeschermingsmarkt
• Je kunt marktinformatie omzetten in commerciële kansen
• Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Nederlands en voldoende Engels
• Je bent communicatief en sociaal sterk
• Je bent een teamspeler

About the Role:

To manage the technical relationship in order to realize the commercial objectives of ADAMA Northern Europe (pre sales, sales & after sales) and to manage the relationships in order to support the realization of the commercial objectives of ADAMA Northern Europe with stakeholders. Focus will be on the Dutch speaking customer base.

Remote role with poccasional travel to Leusden.

Reporting structure

The Technical support Specialist (Agronomist) reports directly to the Techinical manager and is a support function.

Accountabilities and key responsibilities

• Provides technical support for the market approach plan in cooperation with the Area manager and Account manager
• Supports the realization of the commercial objectives related to an account
• Organizes and executes technical support trainings and demonstrations for accounts and stakeholders
• Manages the ongoing technical relationship with key accounts
• Effectively influences stakeholders technically in order to support the realization of the commercial objectives
• Provides technical input from the market for the market approach plans and the derived marketing activities

Requirements

• BSc in an Agricultural-related field
• 3 years of experience in the crop protection market
• Up-to-date knowledge of the crop protection market
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective working relationships
• Up-to-date technical knowledge on all aspects within the crop protection
• market
• Ability to pick up signals regarding technical developments within the market and opportunities and to translate them into valuable information
• Team player
